Company "Fantoni" from Italy ready to invest more than 5m EUR in development of ŠPIK "Ivanjica"

- Italian company "Fantoni", which became the majority owner of ŠPIK "Ivanjica" three months ago, plans to invest more than the planned 5m EUR in that company, if needed, in order to become the leader in the region in production of panel plywood materials - said the co-owner of Italian company Giovani Fantoni.

ŠPIK "Ivanjica" currently products 6,000 cubic meters of raw plywood on daily basis and the new investments should enable production of 10,000 cubic meters, said Fangoni.

He reminded that the machine for polishing of plywood panels had been put into operation some ten days before and its future production should completely satisfy the demands of the domestic furniture manufacturers, which set aside significant means for import of that material.
