"Agroinstitut" from Sombor entered program for production of healthy food

Sombor's "Agroinstitut" approached the international institute "Agronomico Mediterraneo " from Bari, in the scope of the implementation of the Project on organic production without the use of synthetic means.

- By the end of this year, 10 experts from our country will be trained in the Institute in Bari, in order for them to be able to transfer experiences and knowledge in organic production - said the Project Coordinator, Maroun El Moujaber, from the Institute in Bari.

- The International Institute in Bari cooperates with 25 countries in the field of organic production. In those countries, organic production takes place on four million hectares. According to the estimates, organic production in Serbia is organized on about 300,000 hectares, and the main products are medicinal herbs - said Lina Al Bitar, from the Institute in Bari.

The project financed by the European Union includes Serbia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Montenegro.
