Putevi Uzice inks USD 400 million contract in Moscow

Vasilije Micic, the majority owner and president of Putevi Uzice, told Magazin Biznis magazine that his company had recently won a contract for a USD 400 million project in Moscow.
They are supposed to build a science and research center in the Russian capital city, modeled after the Silicon Valley in the USA. According to Micic, the Uzice-based company obtained a USD 120 million guarantee from a Russian bank for this job, which he said was unprecedented as far as Serbian construction companies were concerned.

Micic pointed out that Putevi Uzice had big problems with the state in the local market from which it claimed EUR 14 million for Corridor X and EUR 11 million for Corridor XI work.
