Midland Resources also buying oil industry Vital-Vrbas ?

CEO of Carnex announced that investment fund Midland, which has been the owner of the domestic meat industry for a year and a half, is interested in owning Vrbas oil industry.

Midland successfully revitalized Carnex, which in 2004. increased production for 30%. Multimillion investments have also been announced for production plants and farms since currently only 50% of the capacity is working. Carnex is on the way of earning HASAP certificate of quality and export for EU.

Vital has been on the market for 150 years, yearly it produces 30,000 tons of eatable oil, 15,000 tons of margarine, 10,000 tons of vegetable fat, 5,000 tons of mayo, and in 2005. 2.000 tons of ketchup will be produced. Using the new equipment for manufacturing of margarine and mayo, new production will start with manufacturing dressings for salads and mayo based salads.
