Hazelnuts for Italian sweets - Ferrero starts production in Serbia in September

As the Serbian government said in a release, the MoU calls for Ferrero to open a hazelnut production center, which is the subject of ongoing intensive talks.

- Ferrero's proposal is that the implementation of this investment begins September, and the Serbian PM agrees with this - the release reads.

It is also stressed in the release that Ferrero is the most famous Italian manufacturer of chocolate and confectioneries and the world's leading company in that sector. The Ferrero group is comprised of 73 companies operating 20 production facilities and employing over 30,000 workers.
