MACKJEVI: Cooperation between enterprises from Belarus and Kragujevac has great perspective

- All issues related to economic and trade collaboration between Belarus and Serbia should be resolved at the beginning of March 2007, after which we will take into consideration the possibility of broadening scope of collaboration with Kragujevac-based companies - said the Ambassador of Belarus Vladimir Mackjevi.

At the reception at the Mayor of Kragujevac Veroljub Stevanović's, he estimated that there were great possibilities for future collaboration between enterprises from Belarus and Kragujevac, first of all, in automobile and metal-processing industries.

- It is necessary that Serbia and Belarus first sign the Agreement on foreign-trade exchange - said Mackjevi.

Mayor Stevanović, as well as the Chief of the region of Šumadija, Miroslav Marinković, and the President of the REgional Chamber of Commerce, Dušan Puača, pointed out that it was desirable that the collaboration be present in chemical and lumber industries.

During his stay in Kragujevac, the Ambassador of Belarus also visited factory "Zastava Trucks", in the units of which private Kragujevac-based company "Vulović transport" has been assembling all-terrain vehicles of Belarus-based manufacturer "MAZ" from Minsk since September 2006.
