Montenegro to sell three fokker 100 planes for USD 1,44 mil

The Government of Montenegro estimated at yesterday’s meeting that the request of Montenegro Airlines for the sale of three fokker 100planes is reasonable, taking into account that they are not operational and that they have been grounded.

- It takes a lot of money to reactivate them which is not reasonable since their operational life would be prolonged for 36 months most after which they would be permanently grounded - it was stated in the information on reasons and options of sale of three fokker 100 aircrafts which the Government of Montenegro considered.

The Government thinks that their total sales price should be USD 1,44 mil at least, which the producer estimated them at, i.e. the owner of the certificate for "fokker 100" type- Fokker Service BV" from the Netherlands.
