The first Valamar’s five-star hotel – Dubrovnik-based President opened on Wednesday (June 18, 2014)

The hotel has 113 rooms, an outdoor swimming pool and sunbathing area as well as luxurious restaurants and large congress hall and a welness center.

The rehabilitation project totals EUR 20 mi. The first Valamar’s hotel of high category will undoubtedly contribute to further affirmation of Dubrovnik as a prestigious tourist destination. Valamar warns of patience when it comes to tourist investing.

Valamar is one of the biggest investors in Croatian tourism. During the past 11 years, it invested approximately two billion KN (some EUR 264 mil) in rehabilitation and increase of quality when it comes to products and services. This year, there big investments, including the Valamar Dubrovnik President hotel which, after superstructure and rehabilitation became the first Valamar’s five-star hotel and pride of the biggest tourist group and thus one of the most beautiful hotels at the Mediterranean cost.
