Chinese company offers construction of hot water pipeline along with the second block of Power Plant Pljevlja

Chinese company ’’Powerchina Hubei’’ will, after being chosen to construct the second block of power plant, donate 4.5 km of hot water pipeline to the town of Pljevlja, from the power plant to the town center, crucial for its heating system.

This Chinese company, one of three shortlisted for the construction of the second block of power plant, offered far better environmental performances than those issued by European Union, writes ’’PV Portal’’.

- Apart from strict eco-standards and free hot water pipeline construction, this company is competitive with construction costs, as well. They would build the second block for EUR 277 million, with 250 megawatts of power and more than 39% of efficiency – said Ugljesa Vucinic to the press, a CEO of ’’MFE Invest’’, a regional Chinese partner.

Prospective hot water pipeline construction would be conducted simultaneously with the second block construction, depending on Pljevlja heating system project planning documents.
