Slovakian companies interested in investing in railway infrastructure in Serbia

Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Construction, Transportation and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic and Slovakian Ambassador to Serbia Jon Varso spoke Tuesday (10 June 2014) about ways to intensify cooperation between the two countries in the field of infrastructure and construction, it was announced on the website of the Serbian government.
Mihajlovic, who is also the president of the Serbian part of the Joint Slovakian-Serbian Commission for Economic Cooperation, assessed that bilateral relations between the two countries were excellent, adding that additional efforts should be put into raising economic cooperation to the same level.
She announced that Slovakian businessmen would soon get a precise list of transportation, construction and infrastructure projects awaiting implementation in Serbia.
Varso noted that Slovakian companies were interested in investing in railway infrastructure in Serbia.
The two sides agreed at the meeting to hold a new session of the Joint Commission for Economic Cooperation in Bratislava by the autumn, it was announced on the Serbian government's website.
