Assistance in TENT rehabilitation - Czech Republic donates equipment for Electric Power Company of Serbia

(TENT) Czech Ambassador Ivana Hlavsova has presented the equipment donated by Czech companies to the representatives of the Electric Power Company to help speed up the normalization of coal supply to Nikola Tesla Steam Power Plant (TENT).
At a ceremony in the Czech Embassy, she noted that companies Noen and Sigma had donated sludge pumps to help make flooded collieries within Kolubara Mining Basin operational again, adding that AZD had donated spare parts for the railway infrastructure to allow for the transport of coal to TENT in Obranovac.

Hlavsova pointed out that Czech Republic had also donated power generators, pumps and driers to municipalities in western Serbia.

- The equipment donated today totals about EUR 60,000 - she noted and stressed that Czech Republic had so far contributed 0.25 million euro in aid to Serbia.

This donation was presented in the Czech Embassy to Belgrade in the presence of TENT CEO Cedomir Ponocko.
