EUR 130 million for subsidies in economy sector by end-2016 - Investors who want to get these state incentives must pay salaries of minimum RSD 25,000

Companies that want to get financial assistance from the state for starting a business and hiring new workers will have to guarantee that all their newly employed workers will be paid salaries at least 20% higher than the minimum wage.

The regulation that reintroduces state incentives for investors for newly created jobs stipulates that salaries paid to workers must be at minimum RSD 25,000 a month.

Serbian Finance Minister Lazar Krstic told the daily Blic that about EUR 130 million (RSD 15 billion) would be set aside for subsidies for the economy sector by the end of 2016.
- Part of this money will be spent on subsidized loans - Krstic reminded.
