DRI plans to hire another 210 people by 2016

President of the State Audit Institution (DRI), Radoslav Sretenovic, said today that DRI planned to increase the number of workers from current 211 to 421 by the end of 2016 in order to make it fully operational and functional.

After a session of the Finance Committee of the National Assembly of Serbia at which he unveiled the DRI financial plan for 2014 with projections for 2015 and 2016, Sretenovic told the press that he expected the plan to be adopted by the Administrative Board of the National Assembly.

- We filed a request on January 29 asking the Administrative Board of the National Assembly to give us the green light to hire new people. They haven't given us their consent yet, but we expect to get it soon - said Sretenovic.
