Three bidders for Pljevlja Steam Power Plant

Three bids have been submitted for the construction of the second power generation unit (Block II) within Pljevlja Steam Power Plant - two from Chinese companies and one from Skoda Praha.

The Czech company has offered to build Block II with a capacity of 254 MW and an electrical efficiency of 39.5 percent for EUR 356.7 million.

Two Chinese companies - Powerchina Hubei Electric Power Survey & Design Institute and China Machinery Engineering Corporation (CMEC), have made very similar offers.

The former has offered to build Block II with a capacity of 250 MW and an electrical efficiency of 39.2% for EUR 277 million, while CMEC expresses readiness to build Block II with a capacity of 250 MW and an electrical efficiency of 39% for EUR 278 million.
