Enterprises get first subsidized loans in June - Few hundred firms in Serbia apply for favorable loans

Few hundred enterprises have submitted their application forms for subsidized loans, and the first ones could be granted as early as in ten days, the daily Blic reports.
Priority will be given to exporters engaged in production and transportation. Bojan Kordic, the executive director for economic affairs at Komercijalna banka, says that the Bank has already received about 250 applications for loans totaling over RSD 2.2 billion.

- Given that the terms of lending are extremely favorable, both in terms of fixed interest rate and the repayment period, interest at this moment is huge - Kordic explains to Blic.

Metalac from Gornji Milanovac plans to invest the proceeds of the loan in the purchase of raw materials to use them to produce dishes, sinks and water heaters.

Novi Sad-based Eugen plans to take out a subsidized Dinar loan in the amount of EUR 20,000. All the money will be invested in the purchase of raw materials and production expansion. Velibor Sovrovic, the general manager of Last, also says his company is interested in this form of lending because the interest rate of 5.45% on a Dinar loan is very favorable.
