Finland's Luvata to start producing heat exchangers in Sremska Mitrovica in 2015

Representatives of companies Luvata and MIV 2 Invest today signed an agreement to take over the facility of the former valve plant in Sremska Mitrovica, where the Finnish companny plans to start producing heat exchangers for the automotive and construction industries.

According to Beta news agency, the future plant will start operating in 2015 and employ 200 workers.
Mario Berlini, a representative of Luvata, said that that company had decided to invest in Sremska Mitrovica because of the support provided by the local self-government.

- The main reason lies in our intention to expand the production to the markets of eastern Europe. What attracted us to Serbia is stable political situation, free trade agreement and the vicinity of Italy - said Berlini.

The agreement signing ceremony was also attended by Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic.
