"Mobilkom Austria" to start with work in Serbia in June

The third mobile telephony operator in Serbia, Austrian "Mobilkom" will start with work at the beginning of June 2007. This was confirmed in Barcelona by the President of the Management of that company - Boris Nemšić.

At the World Congress "3GSM", he said that that company had already hired 100 of projected 300 workers and that it was most likely that it would be using number 061, as well as that the company would ask the Republic Telecommunications Agency to also give it the number 060.

"Mobilkom" Austria won the license for mobile telephony in Serbia on December 1, 2006, for which it paid 320m EUR. The managers of the company announced investments of additional 250m EUR in the construction of the network.
