Continuation of the Project of International Aid Network - IAN for support to the endangered groups (refugees and displaced persons, Roma people, unemployed and single parents) through education and professional improvement, was represented yesterday (February 14, 2007) in Belgrade.
The Project is giving a chance to the refugees to get free courses in the computer school and English language school, the school of social skills and entrepreneurship. The educational program contains 21 types of different courses with more than 350 teaching classes. In the scope of this Project, IAN also provides help to the refugees to access rights and information, with special focus on obtaining of personal documents from Croatia.
This is the program that is financed by EU, through CARDS program, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, as well as company "Microsoft", through "Unlimited Potentials" program.
The new donation of "Microsoft" through "Unlimited Potentials" program will enable that the programs in the computer school of the International Aid Network be adapted for deaf persons and persons with hearing disabilities and that these users join free computer education in 2008. Three students with this disability will obtain certificate from the authorized EDCL examiner and they will be occasionally hired in IAN computer school as teachers.
