Drakulić’s "East Point" interested in "Želvoz"

Only few days after the Privatization Agency announced tender for sale of 70% of State-owned assets in Smederevo-based Factory of Railway Vehicles "Želvoz", the interest in procurement of this factory was expressed by three companies that bought tender documentation.

Among the interested buyers are two foreign and one domestic company, that is, Zoran Drakulić’s "East Point".

Besides Drakulić, the tender documentation was also bought by company "Grampet" from Ramania, as well as certain Slovakian company. Concerning the fact that the deadline for purchase of this documentation is March 9, 2007, it can be expected that some more companies will be on the list of potential buyers of the Factory of Railway Vehicles from Smederevo.

The deadline for submittal of bids for procurement of Smederevo-based "Želvoz" expires on March 30. Therefore, the workers believe that they could get a new owner already in April.
