Kuwaiti loan is coming, Prokop construction to resume - Works entrusted to consortium led by Energoprojekt

Serbia's national railway company Zeleznice Srbije (Serbian Railways) has got the green light to use the proceeds of the Kuwaiti loan of EUR 26 million to resume the construction of the main railway station Beograd centar in Prokop.
- A good news - we've obtained the consent from the Kuwaiti Development Fund to use that credit line and commence the work - Serbian Railways General Manager Dragoljub Simonovic said and added that the work on Prokop would kick off as soon as the situation in the country was stabilized.
Simonovic reminded that the main contractor would be the domestic company Energoprojekt led by a consortium made up of six companies.
The Kuwaiti Development Fund has approved a report made by the Tender Committee of Serbian Railways, thus making the loan operational.
According to the public notice, the maximum deadline to finish the reconstruction of traffic facilities in the railway station Beograd centar in Prokop is 420 days.
