Agromehanika puts tractor assembly line into operation in Boljevac

A tractor assembly line was put into operation today in Boljevac-based factory Agromehanika as a result of this company's cooperation with India's Sonalika.

This assembly line, worth about EUR 1 million, was commissioned by Sonalika CEO Rajiv Vahi and Agromehanika General Manager Branislav Rajic.

- The two companies began cooperation in 2013, whose first phase saw the commissioning of the tractor assembly line in the facilities of the Boljevac-based company - said Vahi.

According to Rajic, Agromehanika's plan is to increase the production to 1,000 tractors a year by 2017 and to market them in Slovakia, Czech Republic and Ukraine in addition to neighboring countries.

- The total investment would then reach close to EUR 10 million - said Rajic.
