Nikola Tesla A thermal power station back in operation as of May 25

EPS General Manager Aleksandar Obradovic says that the situation in TENT A (Nikola Tesla A thermal power station) in Obrenovac is stable and he hopes that the first units will be put back in operation as early as Sunday. About 13,000 households are still without electricity.

In his guest appearance on RTS, Obradovic said that the situation in TENT was stable, but he underlined that the danger was not over yet.

When it comes to Kolubara, Obradovic said that the first quantities of coal from that mine were expected to be available as early as Thursday.

As he stressed, Serbia has knowingly reduced power production, which is why electricity is currently being imported from neighboring countries at market prices.
