KOSTIC: Serbia can triple its agricultural potential

Through an organized action and with a good strategy, Serbia could very quickly double or even triple its agricultural potential, says Miodrag Kostic.

As the president of MK Grupa pointed out, Serbia could produce much more food than its population needs.

Participating in the event "Negotiations with the EU - Chance for Agricultural Development in Serbia", which was organized by the Senate of Serbia's economy at the 81st International Agriculture Fair, Kostic stressed that "Serbia's agriculture has a huge potential" that is, unfortunately, insufficiently tapped into.

Even at the current level of development of agriculture, Serbia is a traditional exporter of agrarian products, Kostic pointed out and assessed that a substantial boost of our agricultural potential and production would definitely result in a growth of exports.
