Electric Power Company of Serbia commences replacement of electric meters

Electric Power Company of Serbia (EPS) will start replacement of the old electric meters and modernization of measuring devices in the power supply companies in mid-February.

In the following days, the first share of total of 130,700 ordered electric meters in the first shipment should arrive. This share of meters will be immediately sent to the power supply companies to install them by previously determined dynamics.

The meters will be delivered by French "Sagem" and Novi Sad-based "Enel", which got the job on the international tender in January 2006. Their procurement will be financed from the credit that EPS obtained from the European Bank for Rehabilitation and Development.
