Coordination meeting between international donors and Serbian government officials on May 22 in Belgrade

A coordination meeting with international donors in regard to their assistance in the recovery from catastrophic floods in Serbia will be held Thursday (22 May 2014) at 10 AM in the Palace of Serbia, the Serbian government announced.
Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic and competent ministers will address the donor community in order to inform them about the proportions of catastrophic floods that struck our country, so they could consider providing assistance to Serbia in the repair of damages caused by this natural disaster. They will also talk about further steps that will ensure efficient and timely coordination of the efforts of the Government and international donors to maximize the overall effect of their joint activities.
This meeting will be attended by the representatives of the embassies of 27 countries in Europe, North America, Asia, which are accredited in Serbia, and the officials of the EU Delegation to Serbia, Council of Europe, EBRD, EIB, World Bank, the Office of the UN resident coordinator, and the German Development Bank.
This meeting is organized by the Office of Jadranka Joksimovic, the minister without portfolio who is responsible for European integration, and the European Integration Office of the Serbian government that coordinates international development aid and is in charge of determining priorities for funding from the EU IPA program.
