Three days of mourning declared in Serbia

At the proposal of Aleksandar Vucic, the Serbian government declared at its session today three days of mourning over the death and suffering of a large number of citizens in the floods, to be observed on 21, 22 and 23 May 2014.

This proposal was backed by all members of the Government and it is going to be published in the Official Gazette and put into effect at midnight.

Prime Minister Vucic said that a decision on whether to lift the state of emergency in the whole territory of Serbia would be made by Friday.
