VUJOVIC: Economy to get back on its feet two months after situation is stabilized

Economy Minister Dusan Vujovic stated that the Government had set a two-month deadline for raising the production and exports, after the situation was stabilized, to a level required to fulfill the plans that were important to the country.

- The economy was in a difficult situation even before all this happened. Our colleagues from international organizations that are willing to help Serbia advise us to do the reconstruction and repairs in line with European standards, so we don't need to do all that twice. This is a chance to do this properly - Vujovic told the press.

He pointed to the necessity of applying European standards to the reconstruction of bridges, roads and other infrastructure facilities, with the help of domestic and international organizations and loans, which should provide Serbia with a chance to speed up its progress on the path to the EU.
