Proposal that all employed people donate RSD 500 for endangered areas

Milan Knezevic, the president of the Association of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, said that that organization would submit a proposal to Economy Minister Dusan Vujovic that all employees and employers provide a financial aid to the endangered.

- We will forward our initiative to Minister Vujovic on Monday (May 19) to invite all employers to conduct a survey in their companies. The aim is that every employee sets aside RSD 500 from their June salary and that employers provide even more for a financial aid - Knezevic told the press in Belgrade.

He pointed to the importance of involving as many businessmen as possible in the rehabilitation of our country and its recovery from floods.

- I am going to advocate for the announcement of a list of businessmen who helped and those who didn't. This is the time when morality should come before personal interests - said Knezevic.

According to him, a substantial aid would be provided if 1.7 million employees and more than 300 businessmen supported the initiative.
