Apart from expanding the capacity of his existing pellet plant, Serbian businessman Zoran Drakulic, the president of Point Group, is going to open two more factories - a biomass power plant and a production facility for wooden pellets. A total value of this investment is about EUR 7 million.

- Due to market demands, we plan to expand the capacity of our existing pellet plant by 30%, for which nearly EUR 2 million will be set aside - Drakulic told the daily Novosti.

- Besides, we will invest about EUR 5 million in the construction of biomass power plant that could supply heat to all interested households in Boljevac.

Drakulic also told Novosti on Thursday that it was agreed to build a production facility for wooden pellets in Boljevac, which would be making pellets for Drakulic`s eco fuel plant.

- Annually, our eco fuel plant requires up to 80,000 wooden pellets - Drakulic explained.

- Therefore, we`ve come to an agreement with the management of Boljevac to open a pellet plant worth about EUR 250,000 and, thus, create jobs for another 20 workers. In addition, we also plan to have a EUR 750,000 briquette plant built in Golubac.
