By mid-February 2007, 1,111 gas stations were registered in Serbia, which means that there is one gas station at every 40 km. Of that number, NIS owns 45%, Stock Company Nafta 20.7%, Lukoil-Beopetrol 18%, Avia-Petrobart 9%, OMV 3.87%, Hellenic petroleum (EKO YU) 1.71%, and the same percentage of gas stations is owned by Mol.
