International conference in field of information technologies to start on February 12 in Belgrade

Regional conference in field of information and communications technologies, dedeicated to applied researches, will be held from February 12 to 14, 2007, in Belgrade-based hotel"Intercontinental". This was announced by the Ministry of Science and Environment Protection of Serbia, which is also the organizer of the meeting.

The representatives of 14 countries and 17 organizations that deal with financing scientific researches in Albania, Austria, BiH, Bulgaria, Greece, Hungary, Macedonia, Germany, Romanis, Slovenia, Serbia, Montenegro, France and Croatia, will take part in this Conference, as well as the delegation of European Union.

According to the expectations, new contacts will be established at the Conference and the ideas will be represented for the new regional projects that will be financed in the scope of the SEE-ERA.NET initiative or in the EU's 7th program for research and development.

The topics of the round tables are: application of the information technologies in health care sector, in environment protection and sustainable development, in education and in protection of cultural and scientific heritage.
