Komercijalna banka Q1 2014 EBT down 18 percent

Earnings before taxation (EBT) of the largest domestic bank Komercijalna banka in the first quarter of 2014 dropped 18.2 percent from the year before, to RSD 1.2 billion (EUR 10.4 million), the Bank's reports show.

According to the unrevised financial statements of the Bank, revenues from interests in the period January-March 2014 totaled RSD 5.5 billion, up 4.3 percent from the same quarter in 2013. In this period, the profit from fees and commissions grew 5.3 percent, to RSD 1.1 billion, against the same period last year, Sinteza Invest Group reports.

According to this broker company, the Bank's overall assets totaled RSD 373.6 billion at the end of March, going up from RSD 363.7 billion in December 2013. Komercijalna banka is the second largest bank in Serbia in terms of assets among 29 creditors operating in the domestic market of 7.3 million people.
