Economy Fair in Subotica between June 4 and 7

This year's International and Regional Economy Fair in Subotica will be held at the sports arena Hala sportova, between June 4 and 7, under the slogan "Small Businesses and Old Crafts - Big Challenge on the EU's Doorstep".

According to the organizers, the aim of this year's event is to provide a space and an opportunity for businessmen to present themselves and get to know each other, that is, establish contacts with their colleagues from the country and the region.

The Fair will be organized on an exhibition area of over 1,400 square meters. The organizers say that the occupancy rate is at around 80 percent at the moment, adding that exhibitors are mainly processing, metal, vocational and service companies.

It is also announced that the representatives of Subotica's sister cities from Hungary, Croatia, Montenegro and Sweden will participate in this year's event.

Entrance to the Fair is free of charge for citizens.

The organizer of the Economy Fair is the public utility company Suboticke pijace, with the support of the Subotica Regional Chamber of Commerce and under the auspices of the City of Subotica which set aside RSD 2 million for its organization this year, 20 percent less than in 2013.
