Government to adopt four economic measures on May 12

Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic has announced that the Government will adopt four economic measures on Monday, May 12 in a bid to improve the economy, increase the number of employees, attract investments, and better the terms for the acquisition of apartments.
As he explained in an interview with the magazine Nedeljnik, the first of these measures will be to subsidize economy liquidity loans.
- Banks will approve EUR 1.2 billion worth of subsidized loans to the private sector with the lowest possible interest rates. The state will stimulate banks with EUR 60 milllion. That will be a special injection for the liquidity of our economy - said Vucic.
According to the prime minister, the second economic measure will be the fight against grey economy and mass employment.
The third economic measure of the Serbian government will be to fix business environment through amendments to the laws on privatization and bankruptcy that will be forwarded to the National Assembly next week, as well as through amendments to the Labor Law which Vucic announced would be forwarded to the Parliament in ten to 12 days.
According to Vucic, the construction of cheap apartments will be the fourth economic measure.
