Open competition announced for selection of best architectural solution for blocks in Novi Beograd

The Directorate for Building Land and Construction of Belgrade, Association of Architects of Belgrade (DAB) and Association of City Planners of Belgrade will announce the open competition for poll-program city planning-architectural solution for blocks 25 and 26 in Novi Beograde, in the area between the building of former SIV and Arena.

The right to participate have all city planners and architects from Serbia, as well as from other countries. The participants are expected to analyse the possibility of location of the future business and sports center with the possibility of construction of about 400,000 square meters of office space.

The drafts should be delivered prior to April 18, 2007.

If at least 10 works that meet the requirements are delivered prior to the deadline, the most successful participants will be given cash rewards. The first prize amounts to 800,000 RSD, the second is 500,000 RSD, whereas the third is 300,000 RSD.
