Jeanci eyes Leskovac-based Interlemind

Turkish company Jeanci is interested in taking over Leskovac-based Interlemind, whose workers again went on a protest walk yesterday (7 May 2014) through the central streets of Leskovac.
Assistant Mayor Gojko Velickovic said that Jeanci was ready to take over the mortgage rights on the facilities of the Interlemind factory for producing sheet metal and building materials from OTP Bank.

Velickovic noted that the forthcoming meeting at the Economy Ministry would focus on the termination of sales agreement with Interlemind's majority owner, Valentin Zaharijev from Bulgaria, as well as on the formation of consortium comprising Jeanci, workers and the Republic of Serbia.
Interlemind owes about RSD 70 million to OTP Bank.
