The French Cultural Heritage Committee should make a decision next week on the fate of Pablo Picasso's studio in Paris, where he painted famous Guernica, after an announcement that this building will be turned into a luxury hotel.
The top two floors in that building used to belong to Picasso, the media in France have reported.
Picasso's apartment and studio on these two floors are now the property of the Chamber of Bailiffs that wants to renovate that building and turn it into a hotel.
