Italian "Fantoni" to invest 30m EUR in modernization of company "Špik" from Ivanjica

Italian company "Fantoni", which bought the factory for plywood production "Špik" in Ivanjica at the end of October 2006, plans to invest 30m EUR in that factory, instead of previously set 5m EUR, within next five years.

In 2007, the existing production line in "Špik" will be reconstructed, which will enable increase in production of plywood from current 6,500 to 11,000 cubic meters per month. The production process will be completed with the opening of the new sawmill, which should be put into operation on February 11.

The authorized in the factory plan to employ another 10 young people of technical and administrative profession, who will receive free Italian language courses.
