Srbijagas made a new net loss of RSD 14.6 billion in only 12 months, thus increasing its debt to almost RSD 50 billion. This is the information from Srbijagas' financial statement for 2013 that has just been published by the Business Registers Agency.
Considering that this public company also topped the last year's list of largest lossmakers, with a loss twice as big as the one made by second-ranked Serbian Railways, it is hard to believe that any company could achieve a worse business result.
Unlike Srbijagas, other top loss making companies have not increased their debt. Serbian Railways has even cut it in half: from 16.6 to 7.7 billion dinars. Some of them, such as PZP Beograde, reduced their net loss thanks to the process of reorganization, among other things.
As for the top profit making companies, there will be no significant change in their ranking. The list is still topped by the Petroleum Industry of Serbia (NIS) which has increased its profit by RSD 2.8 billion to a total of RSD 52.3 billion. It is followed by Telekom Srbija, whose profit grew even more - from 11.2 to 15.3 billion dinars. Among the largest profit maker is also Telenor with a profit of RSD 11.1 billion...
