New UAE investors interested in Serbia - RAK ceramics, Julphar and Chaudari Group consider investments

Zeljko Sertic, the president of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce who is currently on a working visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), has talked with the representatives of Ras al-Khaimah-based companies RAK ceramics, Julphar and Chaudari Group which are interested in investing in Serbia, it was announced in a release on the SCC website.
Sertic and Akram Fathi, a leading sales manager at RAK ceramics, discussed the possibility of building a new production facility for ceramic tiles and sanitary elements or privatizing the existing ones. The SCC delegation visited the production facilities of that UAE company, a leading manufacturer of ceramic tiles, sanitary and ceramic elements for hotels, which employs about 10,000 workers across the Emirates, the release reads.

The SCC president also talked with Ajman Sali, the CEO of the pharmaceutical company Julphar, the world's most famous producer of crystal insulin, about the initiative of that company to invest in pharmaceutical plants in Serbia.

Construction of an instant pasta factory and the privatization of hotels undergoing reorganization were the topics of a meeting between the SCC delegation and Nirvana Chaudari, the managing director of Chaudari Group, and the management of the Cinovation corporation (a part of Chaudari Group).

The SCC delegation in the UAE is promoting Serbia as an attractive investment destination as well as investment advantages and new business opportunities, it is stressed in the release on the SCC website.
