Industry of building material "Stražilovo" to modernize units for production of thermal blocks, value of new equipment - 3.5m EUR

Greek company "SABO" will deliver equipment worth 3.5m EUR for production of thermal blocks, intended for reconstruction ot unit 1, to the Industry of building materials IGM "Stražilovo".

Following the realization of that investment, planned for the first half of year 2008, the capacity of the factory in Sremski Karlovci will be more than double bigger and it will be possible to employ antoher 24 new workers.

With the reconstruction of unit 1, factory "Stražilovo" will become the largest manufacturer of bricks and the first manufacturer of euro-formats in Serbia. Rehabiltation of that factory implies complete replacement of equipment, introduction of robots in the production line and construction works on repair of the unit. Also, the investment includes works on organization of brickkiln complex.
