Chinese trucks from Zastava as early as June

Representatives of Zastava vozila (Zastava vehicles) and Zastava kamioni (Zastava trucks) have arrived in China which is expected to soon start supplying parts for trucks of the JAC motors company.

A five-member expert delegation of Zastava has arrived in China, where they will work with their Chinese colleagues on business and technical cooperation agreements between to be signed between Zastava vozila, that is, Zastava kamioni, and China’s JAC motors. At the JAC motors headquarters, Zastava’s experts will also be engaged in the creation of technical conditions for the transportation and delivery of the first batch of parts for Chinese vehicles that will be assembled in Kragujevac.

The agreement on business and technical cooperation between JAC motors and Zastava kamioni will be implemented in three phases.

The plan is to offer Chinese vehicles assembled at Zastava to buyers in northern Africa, the Near East, CEFTA and EU member countries. It is underlined that all JAC vehicles are equipped with modern engines that meet European environmental standards.

Assembling of the pilot series of JAC light trucks in Kragujevac should start June, while mass assembling may begin October 2nd, on the Day of Zastava kamioni.
