Subotica-based unit of company "Loher" to grow into the largest factory of wind-generators in Europe

Prior to the end of year 2007, 3,000 wind-generators will be produced in Subotica-based unit of company "Loher", which is a German company that operates within company "Siemens".

That will bring them the title of the largest individual unit for production of wind-generators in Europe in 2008.

Ištvan Sekula, the Manager of "Loher's" unit, says that the big advantage is the fact that the engines of great power, 1,500-2,000 kW for wind-generators, are produced here.

The unit was moved to a new location in September 2006 - the Logistics Center in Mali Bajmok. In the equipping of the space whose surface is 500 square meters, "Loher" invested 3.5m EUR.
