Confectionery concern "Bambi-Banat" starts regional expansion

- Company "Bambi-Banat" is planning to produce 28,000 tons of confectioneries in 2007 and achieve an income of 72.5m EUR - the General Manager of that company, Miroslav Miletić, stated.

He pointed out that "Banat" chocolate and candy factory from Vršac and "Bambi" confectionery factory from Požarevac had merged at the start of 2007 and that the concern for the production and sale of confectionery products "Bambi-Banat" had begun working.

Miletić announced mergin of "Bambi-Banat" with some of the confectionery industries in the region.

"Bambi" and "Banat" produced and sold 23,000 tons of products last year, which is 16% more than in 2005. Over 7,000 tons of products were exported and 14m EUR were earned.
