General Manager of Yugoslav River Shipping (JRB), Milan Mijailović, announced that the tender for sale of that company should be announced soon. The bookkeeping value of the company is about 28m EUR. There are seven companies that showed their interest in the procurement of this shipping company.
He confirmed that he had talked with Serbian businessman Zoran Drakulić about privatization, but he also added that other six serious companies had shown their interest in the procurement of that company.
The bookkeeping value of the company amounts to about 28m EUR. Tender terms will include mandatory investments in amount of 16m EUR and social program worth 3m EUR.
JRB employs 625 workers. The "core" of the fleet are 20 ships, 63 vessels with a space for liquid cargo, the capacity of which is 85,000 tons, and 72 vessels for transport of dry cargo, the capacity of which is 110,000 tons. The company also owns quality certificate ISO 9.001 since October 2006.Companies:
