Energoprojekt intensifies works on Pancevo railway - 200 workers to get job within next three years

Energoprojekt Niskogradnja plans to employ about 200 workers and around 120 machines on the building site for the Pancevo railway within the next three years and to intensify works in mid-April, Serbian Railways announced in a release today.

Under the Pancevo Bridge - Pancevo Glavna railway track modernization and electrification project, this company will carry out earthworks, construct buildings and small engineering facilities.

As announced in the release, all organizational units of the Energoprojekt Niskogradnja company will be involved in the modernization of the Pancevo railway.

Modernization of the Pancevo railway is one of the five Serbian railway modernization projects financed with the proceeds of a Russian loan.

In mid-March, Russia's RZD International and Energoprojekt Niskogradnja inked a subcontractor agreement worth USD 16 milllion, 10 percent of which were paid as an advance to this Belgrade-based company last week.
