Tetra Pak's net sales up 3.5 percent in 2013

Tetra Pak, a global leader in the production of food processing and packaging solutions, announced today that it had generated net sales of EUR 11.1 billion in 2013, up 3.5 percent from 2012.

- A combination of strong competition and supply higher than demand created a very difficult business environment for Tetra Pak last year in many markets worldwide - Tetra Pak General Manager and President Dennis Jönsson said and added that in spite of that, they had reported a growth in all fields of business with particularly good results achieved in the field of processing solutions, capital equipment and technical services.

The company announced that its net revenue from packaging solutions sales had reached EUR 9.6 billion in 2013, up 3 percent from 2012.
