Jasmil from Arilje opens production facility for lingerie in Plandiste - Investment valued at RSD 119 million

Arilje-based Jasmil, a famous lingerie manufacturer, opened a production facility in Plandiste on April 11.
The new facility will be producing ready-to-wear and raw cotton material for the needs of domestic and foreign markets. Namely, Jasmil has now become the only manufacturer of raw cotton material in Serbia, which has so far been imported.
The opening ceremony was attended by Vojvodina Prime Minister Bojan Pajtic and his deputy, Prof. Dr. Dragoslav Petrovic.
According to Pajtic, provincial authorities are continuously supporting investments contributing to the improvement of insufficiently developed areas, it was announced on the website of the Vojvodina government.
Pajtic said in Plandiste that Vojvodina had invested RSD 40 million in this project that was going to directly create 50 new jobs and another 100 indirectly, through various forms of cooperation, adding that the total value of the investment was RSD 119 million.
Plandiste Mayor Milan Selakovic and Slavica Bulj, the director of Jasmil's new production facility in Plandiste, expressed their gratitude to the Vojvodina government, whose support facilitated the project implementation.
The company Jasmil from Arilje was established in 1992 and has been producing clothing items for 22 years. The newly opened factory in Plandiste occupies a surface area of about 12,000 square meters and is equipped with a modern equipment for producing clothing items. The planned volume of production is 550,000 pieces of ready-to-wear (lingerie and pajamas).
