Chinese company interested in building cement plant in Bela Palanka

A delegation of the China Institute of Geology, accompanied by the representatives of the Bela Palanka municipality and the officials of China's Betec Resources, has toured a potential location for the construction of cement plant in the vicinity of Bela Palanka, in the surroundings of the village of Ljubatovica, where limestone and marl reserves exist, it was announced on the municipal website.

According to Bela Palanka Mayor Goran Miljkovic, the Betec Resources company specializes in geological surveys and investments in this field, and it is already engaged in several projects in Serbia.

As Miljkovic told the press, they have taken the samples of soil to do further tests, given they they are very interested in opening a cement plant in this area.
