"Nišville" asks for status of "national jazz festival"

The Ministry of Culture has received the initiative from the organizer of "Nišville", the oldest jazz festival in the country, that this manifestation becomes "the national jazz festival". According to Ivan Blagojević, the Manager of "Nišville", that should mean that this festival, just like "Guča" and "Exit", would become the music brand of Serbia's south.

- We cherish our national ethno-tradition in combination with the classical jazz culture very successfully for year, and we are also hosts of the top-quality musicians from all over the world, which is a sufficient reason to be officially classifed as one of the best festival in our country - says Blagojević.
